Whilst working in the computer industry in the late 90s, I occasionally used an acupuncturist to help with headaches that I was having. I was fascinated with this therapy and always felt great after the treatment.
In 2006, after my second child, I decided it was time for a career change, the stress of computers no longer appealed to me. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine intrigued me and so it was time to give it a go.
I graduated in 2009 with a Distinction and began working soon after. It wasn’t long until I noticed the trends with my clients – there were certain times of the year much busier than others and different conditions presented themselves in different seasons but there was one thing that stood out – many of the issues people were having could be helped with a change of diet. This is when I decided to study Nutrition.
I now use both qualifications to guide people back to health.
